Help Me I’m New
GoTriangle provides options for getting around the Triangle region in North Carolina. Transit. Rideshare. Bike. Walk. Telework. No matter where in the region (Durham, Orange and Wake Counties), we’ve got information and resources for you.
Go By Bus
If you’re interested in bus services, start with the trip planner. All you need to know is your starting point, your destination, and the time you want to travel. Read more tips on how to use the trip planner. Other resources to guide you in using the bus services in the region are available in the Transit section of the website.
You’ll have more options in the future as the region develops new bus services, and works on planning and funding rail services. Details are available on the Transit Plan page.
Go By Rideshare
If you’re looking to share a ride to save money, be green, or just get where you want to go, start with our online ridematching service, SharetheRideNC. Other resources about creating a successful carpool or vanpool are available in the Rideshare section of the website.
Go By Bike
If you’re interested in getting active and riding a bike more often to get around or just for exercise, we’ve got bike maps, safety tips, a great map of bike shops in the area, and more. It’s all under Cyclist Resources in the Bike/Walk section of the website.
If you’re interested in getting active and using your own two feet for getting around, we’ve provided some safety tips and a cool tool called Walk ScoreTM, measuring the walkability of your neighborhood and showing destinations within easy walking distance of any address you choose. Find it under the Pedestrian Resources in the Bike/Walk section of the website.
If you’re interested in learning more about telework, we provide some self-evaluation tools to help you determine if it would work for you. We’ve also got tips on setting up a home office. Find it under the Telework section of the website.
