Downtown Raleigh

Downtown Raleigh is known as Raleigh's central business district. With a revitalizing downtown comprised of residents and employees, TDM outreach is becoming a more vital component to the dynamic area. Employees in downtown Raleigh take advantage of vanpools, carpools, transit options and bicycle routes to get to and from work. Residents in the area can often be found riding Downtown Raleigh’s free circulator service, the R-Line, to enjoy an evening of dining, run errands or connect to the larger transit systems. Downtown Raleigh also has a dedicated TDM coordinator who works with employers to offer employees commuter options.
