Dump the Pump 2010
WHEN: Wednesday, June 17, 4-6 PM
WHERE: Leroy T. Walker Complex (outside)
This
event is a time for NCCU employees, student cyclists and bike commuters to meet
one another and learn together. There will be chances to win great prizes and
raffles from The Bike Chain, Triangle Transit, and NCCU. Whether you are
a serious cyclist, a regular bike commuter, or considering trying out commuting
by bike for the first time, this fun and educational event has plenty to offer.
Attendees will have an opportunity to network, learn more about cycling and have
the opportunity to go on a short bike ride. Bike/Ped staff will be on
hand for questions about bike safety and maintenance. Bike information on a
variety of subjects will be available to NCCU employees and students attending
this event.
Also there will be a
lead ride that it will be an opportunity for those who are able, to find a
safe, uncongested, and beautiful bike route to work at NCCU using the American
Tobacco trail entrance nearest you. If interested in being part of the lead
